History of CoEEF

There had always been a desire for the alumni of the KNUST CoE in the diaspora to congregate and many informal gatherings have been documented among friends, year groups, cohorts over the decades sometimes based on proximity and at other times on other factors.  However, two recent events in the United States spearheaded by the provost and the faculty under the auspices of Project KEEP took the bull by the horns and brought key alumni together.  The Worcester Event in Massachusetts in October 2023 was followed by the Virginia event in November 2023 where the congregation of current and previous KNUST CoE faculty and alumni and well-wishers revived old bonds and cemented new ties in the formalization of relationships that culminated with the establishment of the KNUST CoEEF as a registered private nonprofit educational foundation in the United States.
